i don't have that i concieved naturally. if you don't concieved naturally then try IVF if it's ok with your husband to try out IVF or if IVF doesn't work then adopt a baby if you can IVf isn't cheap either or adopting isn't cheap either but i know some one who can't concieved naturally and she tried IVF and she can't get pregnant i feel so bad for her. but no matter how hard you try don't give up if this doesn't work adopt it's the only thing that will make a child come into your life. just try. Keep us posted if you concieved naturally or by IVF try it naturally then go for IVF if you tried naturally like 3 times.

I had a friend that had endometriosis and she did conceive naturally. After she had her baby, her doctor told her she didn't have endo anymore. So apparently having a baby cures it? I'm not sure. I wish you the best of luck

I have recently been informed that I have Endo, but It was after I conceived naturally. It took 4 doctors to tell me what was wrong with me, My last doc in cali finally told me that the reason I didnt know I had it before was because I had been on birth control continuously and only would come off it 3 times a year for a period. She told me I was lucky that my obgyn put me on b.c when I was 12 or else id probably not ever be able to have a baby. But she also says that If I stay on it now that my chances may still be good that some day i might be able to get prego again. I was told there is no cure, once you have it. She said the only way to control was through b.c or surgery. Its scary but i hope that this has helped you. I was told to stay away from provera at all costs...

I don't have endo, but my husband's cousin's wife does. They were told that they probably never would conceive naturally, but she has 6 times. Unfortunately for them they have had many other reproductive issues that caused pregnancy 1 & 2 and pregnancy 4 & 5 to end in miscarriage. But it is possible! They soon will have 2 little ones in their home.

My friend was just diagnosed with endo so if anyone has anything that has helped them with the pain please let me know because they told her her only option to get rid of the pain (because of where the tissues were outside her uterus) was to have a histerectomy, shes only 23.

From a medical point of view- Endometriosis is a thickening of the lining of the uterus - the problem is getting a fertilized egg to attach to the thickened linning. There are methods of thinning this lining such as douches and LEAP treatments (given in a docs office). And then timming your cycle to coincide just after these treatments when the lining is most likely to hold an egg. The main concern is the retroverted uterus that makes labor and delivery very difficult, and then having other children after that is even harder.
Yes, you can get pregnant with Endometriosis, its just a little harder and takes a little more Timing and Effort (your husband won't mind!!) than a normal pregnancy. There are higher miscarriage rates - so be aware of complications and warning signs. Do some more research and talk to your doctor again - you obiviously have more questions and he is the right person to give you answers. Try talking to a Pregnancy Counselor as well, she can tell you about options to harvest your eggs, adopt, and give information about trying for pregnancy later down the road. While having children can help to cure this disease, it isn't always the correct answer for everyone. And some people just can't seem to have children while having Endometriosis. There are also options for suregery - so talk to your doctor or get a second opinion!

I have endometriosis and I was able to conceive naturally with both of my children (my son is 2 yrs old and I am pregnant with a girl due in 2 weeks). When I found out I had endometriosis I had laparoscopic surgery to remove some of the tissue that had grown and attached outside the uterus that had been causing me a lot of pain. Not long after the surgery my husband and I decided to start trying for a baby because we were told that it could be difficult to get pregnant. So I stopped my birth control pill after being on it for 11 years and after 6 months of trying we got pregnant. After my first pregnancy the pain that I had from the endometriosis was MUCH MUCH better, but pregnancy did not cure the endometriosis. My second pregnancy we got pregnant right away. I hope this helps, good luck!!!

I have been living with endo for 7 years. I had my first surgery at 16 to fix my uterus and my 2nd surgery at 17 to take cysts off of my ovaries. I was pretty sure I wouldn't be able to get pregnant but now I have two. My boy is 2 1/2 and my girl is 9 mo and we a re curently working on our 3rd. It took a while for me to get pregnat with 2nd so hang in there. Also ther is a thermometer that you can buy that helps determine when you are ovulating and most fertile. It is called a Baisal Thermometer. You can find it with the pregnacy test and condoms..in that area of a target or walmart. Hope that helps...Good luck

i was diagnosed at an early age with endometrosis. i was told when i was 17 that i would not be able to have kids naturally. my husband and i were just married for 4 months and we hadn't started discussing our options to have kids when i started to become "sick". we thought i had lyme's disease! it turned out i was pregnant. we weren't even trying and for all those years to be told i would not be able to concieve naturally it was mind blowing. our son is now 20 months and i am 37 weeks pregnant with our seconf child. again naturally. good luck and don't put all your trust in doctors hands...sometimes they are wrong.

i only had a 30% chance to get pregnant and a 35% chance to carry full term. i stage 3 endo, have already had 2 surgeries, the last one my dr had to take my right ovary. it took dh and i 2 yrs but i got pregnant and carry beyond full term (byron was a wk late) my wonderful son.

so far i've had no other problems, knocking on my wood desk. but my dr says i still have the same chance to get pregnant again. find a great dr who specializes in endo. and don't give up.
