I have really bad all-day morning sickness that is preventing me from going to work, and my doctor prescribed phenergan. My mom is worried because it is a Type C drug, meaning they don't know for sure whether it crosses the placenta. I wanted to know if anyone else had used phenergan during pregnancy - my doctor said they prescribe it pretty regularly, and I just wanted to see if that was true in other areas. Any input is appreciated - thanks!

I used it with my last pregnancy and this one. I've had the pills and the rub. The rub seems to have less side affect... like making you sleepy. It seems to be pretty common around here. I wouldn't imagina a Dr. would prescribe something that could hurt you or the baby. I was even given Lortab with my last two... during very early pregnancy!! Talk about being paranoid! =0)
No reason to be miserable!
