Post Subject: How soon is too soon?
Can you tell if you are pregnant at only 2 weeks?? Will a home pregnancy test be accurate this soon??

I never tested more than 2 or 3 days early. I don't think there would be enough of the pregnancy hormone in your system at 2 weeks. I know it's a long, hard wait, but try to wait another week to 10 days.

I've read A LOT about HPTs and most say "up to 5 days before missed period". So that would be like 3 or 3 1/2 weeks. If I were you, I'd follow what the bigmouthburgher said and wait for at least another week. Best of luck to you!!

I have heard of women getting a positive at 9 or 10 days post O. I tested at 14 DPO and got a positive. If you know when you ovulated and how long your luteal phase is then you could probably test at 14 DPO, so I guess 2 weeks isn't too early.

You can usally start testing 10DPO... I've known of women getting them a little earlier, but not normally before 10DPO...

Its just so hard to wait. I should be starting today or tomorrow at the latest and so far, nothing. I want to test, but don't want to get a false negative and be crushed. Just hard to wait... I guess I could wait till Sunday and if I still haven't started I could go ahead and test.

This is a delayed response to your question....
If you know the day you conceived you can take a pregnancy test(home test) as early as ten days from conception You really have to be keeping track of your cycle to know when you conceived though. Good luck hopefully you know or will know soon!

With my second one I took a test exactly 2 weeks. I freaked out thinking there was no way to know, so I took 2 more. When I went to the clinic they told me that it was very possible to see it that early, especially with the technology of tests- although they advised me not to use them from the dollar store
