Hello Everyone i just found out last week that i was pregnant. I haven't went to the doctors yet but i wanted to ask... If the first day of my last period was October 2 how far along am I?? I have checked websites and some tell me 3 weeks and some say 5???

You are 5 weeks. They count from the first day of your last period.

First off, Congratulations!!! I agree with Mom^2, you are about 5 weeks. Good luck with the pregnancy.

You are three weeks based off of assumed ovulation. For the sake of ease, most docs will base your due date off of the first day of your last period, since most people know when that is. Congrats!

yes, the counting is crazy - you count from first day of last period -- meaning you were pregs before you were pregs.
