Hi All
I am a mother of three, a 7 year old, 5 year old & a 4 year old. My 4 and 5 year old are dry at night but i am really battling to get my seven year old son to stay dry. He doesn't drink anything after 5pm and goes to the toilet regularly before bed time. I have gone the medication root and still battling. We cant find anything physical wrong with him. It is becoming more and more frustrating and his room is starting to smell, even though we clean it thoroughly every day. I really could use advice. Thanks

Is he a deep sleeper? Some kids have a hard time realizing they need to go to the bathroom while asleep, especially those who are deep sleepers. This problem is more common is boys than girls. My oldest didn't stay consistantly dry at night until he was 6. Have you tried the Huggies Good Nights pants? I know that wearing a "big kid diaper" sucks, but it's a great option and saves you some clean up. Wish I could be more help, but my son just grew out of it.

Thanks. I had him in those but his teacher nearly had a fit when she found out. He is about to go into grade 2 and she says we are going to cause problems with him mentally if we don't stop immediately. I guess i will just have to wait until he grows out of it then. Thanks so much for your imput.

I doubt his teacher is a psychologist! Sorry to rant, but I wish teachers would just do their job and teach, let psychologists decide what will mess up a kid mentally. I think wakeing up wet every morning would do more than to wear absorbant underwear at night in the privacy of your own home.
