Default what do you think of this name

I am pregnant with my second child and if it is a boy I would like to name him Trax. I came up with this when I asked my son what he would name a baby and being a train lover he replied with Tracks. The more I thought about it the more I loved it, I was just wondering what others thought of this name. Thanks in advance.

I think it's cute! Just know that people will give you all sorts of advice when it comes to baby names, so stick to your gut

Do you feel like it might be trying just a little too hard to be different? I wonder what happened to old-fashioned names like Matthew and Jane.

I think it's cute. The only thing that matters is if you like it. When we picked out a a name for our son, we didn't tell anyone because we knew we would get mixed reviews. The last thing we wanted was to spend months second guessing ourselves. When Henry was born, everyone fell so in love with him and his name became just as loved.

I think it's up to you. If a name has a special meaning behind it, then go for it. It's also very sweet that you wanted to include your son's opinion on what the new baby's name will be.

Trax is much better than Apple, Kal-el, Sailor, Seven, or Puma... all of which are really celebrity baby names.

Trax is a good innovation on Tracks. It's great that you want to give your son his own unique name and you were smart enough not to use the actual word. It would have been so cliche otherwise! Kudos!

Go for it if you like it. It's not something I would use personally, but I think it's cute for someone else's kid.

That's cute! it's tough and masculine, but good for little boys, too.

    "Hello...CanonsMama 1",

I think that the name is very innovative and "cute" as well.
The name ... Trax ... is unique and I believe that your little-one-to-be
will stand out in a good way. He will be easily remembered, because of
    the uniqueness of it.

    "Best of Luck!"

    Sincerely,

    Catootsi

I wouldn't tell anyone what you decide either- if you like it go for it. I cant think of anything off the top of my head with Trax, but when naming our daughter my husband and had a fun session of thinking of ways we could make fun of a name (like children will in school). We had some laughs and agreed on a name we love and don't regret! Also think about this as a fun thing now but will you look back on it as silly? If your having second thoughts use it as a nick name or even a middle name! For example we named our daughter Lillian. I love the name Lily,, and that's what we call her, but when naming her I thought about if shes ever and adult and doesn't want to be a flower anymore she will have a choice! haha.
