Default Trying for a baby Girl...

So I said already that my husband and I are trying for number 2 this week. I wouldn't mind having a boy or a girl. But my husband really really really wants a little girl. I know no one can for sure pick the sex of their baby but I did hear of a method that may work to increase our chances of conceiving a girl so we are trying that.

Does anyone else know of any other ways to help our chances of conceiving a girl? Those who have girls do you know of anything you may have done that helped that outcome?

I know that most theories say that trying the days closest or right on ovulation day increases your chances of having a boy. I had a boy first and we did try right on ovulation day, so that kind of makes sense to me. They say to try up to 3 days before ovulation for a girl because the girl sperm are slower than the boy sperm but they also live longer. So that is the only thing we are trying. That and someone told me to eat lots of chocolate, which I am not having a hard time with. I love that stuff!

Sorry if I sound silly in anyway. I'm just curious to see what you all think?

I of course would be thrilled to have a healthy baby regardless of what gender it is. But it would be cool to have a girl. For me and especially for my man who wants one so badly.

We all understand the 'I wouldn't mind X gender' dilema I don't know if this works or not, but it predicted both of my lo's

That’s great! Good luck! As for conceiving a girl, I believe that’s all just in god’s hands, but hell try it, if it works awesome! Lol.

Yeah! he does Freckles but of course he knows it's not our decison. On the one hand he wants another boy cause we already have everything and he loves the boy we have now. but he wants to be able to do daddy daughter dances and all that stuff lol. He would love a daddy's girl.
