Megan - Sadly you see a LOT of that in the Army. Guys getting completely screwed over while they're deployed. Most often its because they were stupid and married some girl they JUST met and know pretty much nothing about, but other times its guys who have been married for a long time and the wife just gets bored while he's gone. I think its awful, in either situation. Females are so conniving sometimes.
I mean, I'll be the first to admit, 15 months is a looooooooooooong time. But for me, its 15 months of missing my husband, thinking about him 24/7, and counting down the minutes til he's home. Not 15 months of pretending I'm single.
That's definitely anything but love. Or good parenting, when there are children involved. What kind of influence is that for your kids? What are you really teaching them about life and Mommy's personality/character/morals?

H.Starr I absolutely think youre hilarious. You say what(nearly) each and everyone of us wants to say. I agree with you 1000%. I am a young mother but, I am also married and can take care of myself just fine. I do not believe children should be having children and it absolutely disgusts me that KIDS are having sex as young as 12. I mean, lordy I didnt even get my period until I was 14! I think that the only people who do get offended are those who know they are in your "wrong doing" catagory and know it. I, personally took absolutely no offense, and see nothing wrong with you expressing how you feel and what you believe. SO kudos to you!

Thank you sheenak. I think you're right on with saying the only people who get offended are those who fall into the category I'm complaining about.
Anyone else (like yourself) would take my words for what they are and not try to twist them.
When I was 12, "French kissing" was still a BIG freaking deal. Its sad the way times change.

Heather, sorry if I mistook what you said. All I was trying to say was that, whether you meant it to or not, it came off as something that could start drama, I really wasn't offended by it. And, I also really don't like drama, so...I am going to end it here and just say, My Apologies.

That goes back to the parents. Yeah, some people are more naturally immature, but we as parents need to stop babying our kids and discipline them correctly so they don't end up as 30 year old kids.

Isn't it amazing that you have to apply to state and pass a test in order to drive a car but anyone can be a parent?

Wouldn't it be interesting if we had to apply to the state for permission to be parents? Like a basic intelligence test, basic income requirements ( you don't have to be rich but you have to earn what is you personally need to live - that number is different for everyone) kind of like an income to debt ratio, either have a two parent household or provide statements that show your support system and how you would survive as a single parent, basic housing requirements

Can you think of anything else that would be on the test?

Well from what I have heard, in order to adopt you have to undergo an intense screening process.
If only they could make that mandatory for natural reproduction as well...

I've been saying that for awhile now. License to drive, why not license to have children. You should have basic skills to care and raise your child before you have one....

And yeah, the adoption process is so intense in it's screening... but not to get knocked up... should be the same.

I'm sure a lot of those "stupid" people would rather that be the case as well! Many of the people that fall into the category of "stupid", leech on the system, and child having children didn't mean to get pregnant
