    Smile Sippy Cup/Baby Bottle Holder

As a Mom of a 6 year old son and a 1 year old (on June 15th) daughter, I had to come up with something to keep the sippy cup from flying across the room.

My daughter loves to hear the SMACK! sound her sippy cup makes when it hits the floor. But one afternoon, we learned the sound it makes when it hits a kind, older gentleman right in the chest! :-( Poor guy. We were having lunch at a crowded restaurant when all of a sudden I see my daughter's arm fly up and out goes the sippy cup. "Oh no," I thought. Yes folks, it flew across the restaurant and hit a well dressed business man right in the chest. You can imagine my embarrassment.

So my new favorite must-have Mommy accessory is the Toss-Me-Not Sippy Cup Holder. You can check them out here ... http://thepitterpatterboutique.com/c...Cup-Holder.htm

You Moms are great. My youngest is 3 but I cannot seem to remember what I really used when my kids were babies. My best friend is having her first and this list will help her. Thanks.

My new favorite thing is blanket clipz. They keep the blanket on the stroller and car seat. No more dirty blankets on the ground!! Even holds the snacks in the car too. Gotta love it.

I have to disagree with the mom who originally posted - my wipe warmer was indispensable. My son would literally start screaming the second his body touched the changing table! Once we got the wipe warmer, that stopped.

My baby mirror for the car.

My baby monitor was a life saver - literally. It's so sensitive, it picks up his breathing - or not. When my son stopped breathing it was the monitor that saved his life!

    I also suggest this-
DONT PUT MIRRORS IN FRONT OF CAR SEATS SO BABY CAN SEE HIMSELF!
This is dangerous. If you were to get into a car accident, the baby would break the mirror and cut his head!

My son loved his swing. It was a regular swing, or you could turn it to sway back and forth. Every morning at 4 he would wake up to be put into it. Lifesaver!

My favorites are many of the items already listed, but here are two of my must-haves.
    1. Diapees and Wipees so I don't have to carry around a diaper bag. Holds diapers and wipes. love it!
    2. Binky Baggy- just bought these adorable little bags to hold up to 6 pacifiers. Good bye plastic baggies! Can put in nursery or in my purse. Found them on www.trendsettingmoms.com

I find it invaluable to be able to see my son as he had breathing issues. If his breathing monitor went off I could look at the mirror quickly to see if he was asleep or if it was a false alarm. When in traffic trying to pull over it was nice to be able to avoid panic.

Most baby mirrors for cars are made of plastic with a reflective coating NOT glass as a typical mirror would be. Car mirrors are for the parent not the child. My son didn't even notice his for months. And he likes being able to see Mom!
