Smile Mom 2 Mom- the best baby products!!

    Hey Moms,

I've made it my mission to find the best baby products! With my first son, nobody I knew had kids, so it was all trial and error...now, three baby boys later, I've figured out what Moms really need- and it's not a baby wipes warmer! Let's share inside experiences so all moms on this forum can weed through the junk. My top 5 must-haves are:
    1. Avent manual breat pump- won't suck your nipples off!
    2. Phil and Ted's double stroller- very cool (I have 3 babies remember!!)
    3. WOMBaby Sling- I've tested tons- these are by far the best/most versatile/stylish
    4. One-piece jammies with a zipper instead of snaps- try doing snaps at 3am in the dark!
    5. Sophie giraffe teething toy- it's old fashioned but my babies love it!! Why fix a classic?

    What do you love....

    Great idea! My favorites are:

    1. Medelea pump-in-style breast pump. Twice as fast as the manual (though that works too) and helped me get even more milk.
    2. Boppy: a total life saver!
    3. Miracle blanket - great for a wiggler who is too big for a receiving blanket.
    4. Exersaucer - helped keep the baby occupied for hours!
    5. Lansinoh - I guess technically that is a mom product, but it helped ease things for both of us.

    PRIMO EuroBath
Dr. Bronner's "Baby Mild" Organic Liquid Soap

    BUMBO BABY SITTER

Medela SWING breast pump- I pumped over 150 oz. a week with this thing while also nursing full time! It's small (the size of a dounut) and battery powered for on the go.

    Great Idea!

Well, I have twins and my lifesavers are:

-bouncers; it's like having an extra hand!
-zipper instead of snaps, that's for sure
-diapers; any kind will do when needed!
-Little Einsteins baby gym; very colorful and big enough for two
-a good Cry once in a while helps too! It does get better, trust me.

Little posters of photos of foods we usually had on hand -- our girls used them to point and tell us what they wanted to eat! No frustration at mealtimes! We spent 7 or 8 hours combing the web for the images we needed a few years ago, but now there's a site with hundreds of photos you click into a template: www.giveavoice.com.

We also loved the dvds from www.signingtime.com to teach all of us baby sign language.

I still love my tubsider. I would die giving the girls baths each night without it to help my back and knees. But I don't remember which catalog we got it from anymore.

I just wanted to add something to what cavemom3 just said. I just read an article on the Bing Note website (www.bingnote.com) about signing for babies. It's an interesting article, and gives a couple of resources on this topic. If you want to check it out, the link is http://www.bingnote.com/blog/signing-for-babies.

I only have one child, he's seven months but my essentials are...

    1. Fisherprice Rainforest Jumperoo
    2. The Diaper Champ!!!! (No annoying refills you have to buy, you just use regular trash bags!)
    3. Munchkin feeders. They're a little net with a handle on them that pops open and you put in fresh fruits and veggies and the child chews on the net so he gets the nutrients but has no choking hazard. They're amazing!

My 2 favorite things are Wubbanub pacifiers, my son loves the red dog one. I also love Melodies About Me personalized music CD. They are the cutest songs out there. My son loves to listen to them, www.melodiesaboutme.com . They make great gifts too!

My son is 8 months old and must haves for me are:

    1. Boppy (he was such a big baby it got heavy with out the boppy to feed him)
    2. Bumbo baby seat (he absolutely loved sitting in this at 3 moths).
    3. Rainforest Jumperoo - such a live saver I don’t know what I'd do without it.
    4. Avent Isis IQ dual automatic pump - the only comfortable pump I found.
    5. Avent microwave sterilization system (so nice not to have to stand over a stove of bowling water to sterilize the bottles and a time saver as well) Definately worth the money.
    6. My Graco travel system (car seat/stroller)

These are the musts that I can think of right now....
