Default What are you doing to wait it out?

So, my DD is July 27th (one week from today) and I am going crazy with anticipation of when will I go into labor, what will it be like, etc. What are you doing to keep your mind sane and wait it out?

I am trying to appreciate my free time, my husband time, and am watching every episode of Weeds ever since TV time will likely soon be limited.

I spent most of the week before I had DS cleaning and watching TV. I worked up until my due date and then went a week overdue. If you like to cook, I would suggest cooking some meals that you can freeze and then reheat. It will help save time and energy once your baby does arrive. Congratulations and good luck! Labor will start when you least expect it!

Thanks! I did a bit of that. The funny thing about the cleaning is that we have cleaned so many times and then no baby. But my philosophy on that has been at least now we have a clean kitchen or bathroom or whatever.

If you want to try to kick start labor I would suggest going to the park to swing. It wasn't something that I had heard about before, but when I was pregnant with my first I went to the park just to get some air and ended up sending myself into labor 3 weeks early. I thought it might be something worth trying the 2nd time around (I was 3 days from my due date) and after about 20 minutes of swinging went home and went into labor that night. I figure I'll do it again when I get close to this baby's due date. Anything's worth a try right?
