This is the Kanji symbol for mother. I got it last year for my mother, who was battling cervical cancer. She passed away that December. Now that I am going to be a mother, it kind of has a double meaning. I will never regret this tattoo.

I designed my only tattoo that I got last year. It is the Trinity. I basically say it means: The Father+The Son+The Holy Spirit = God is Love. I wanted a tattoo for years and went back and forth with the idea, but I couldn't decide on what to get. I wanted it to have meaning.

I'm thinking of getting my daughter's name. I'm not sure where. I don't want it too big. We'll see!

For years I wanted to get a tattoo, but despite seeing my husband get several, I was chicken. Last summer after lots of thought, research & drawing, I "braved it" and got this tattoo for my children. It wasn't 1/2 as bad as I thought it would be and I LOVE IT!
My daughter, Jocelyn's name is in lavender because her favorite color is purple. My son isn't old enough to have a favorite color, so his name is in blue.

I got the tattoo I wanted about 2 1/2 weeks ago, and it turned out perfect! It's a great tribute to our little one that we lost. Hopefully I can figure out how to post the picture correctly!
