TO HAVE ONE OR NOT TOO....
from what I've read and saw, parents WANT the added security of bumper pads to
avoid bumps and bruises.
They also want the added security of preventing arms and legs getting stuck from
UNDER the bumper.
Parents also want something that lasts a little longer than just the CRIB.
A safety improvement to the existing BUMPER PAD, not being able to get those
little arms and feet under the bumper to get stuck.
and get to keep the look of the bumper to go with the adorable bedding you pick out for you're child, as well as the longevity to go well into the toddler years if needed.
with the constant changes of the baby cribs, giving the option to a parent with
a crib that changes to a toddler bed,
gives you longer usage longer safety security
and changes to the day bed style very easy any mom or caregiver can do it.
It has all the qualities and purposes of the original bumper pad
without the extra strings, ties or velcro. With the security of not having limbs or body parts going through the crib slats under the bumper.
1. ADDED MATERIAL THAT IS SEWN TO THE BOTTOM UF THE BUMPER, PREVENTS THE HEAD AND LIMBS FROM GETTING WEDGED BETWEEN THE BARS OF THE CRIBS.
2 DESIGNS ARE AVAILABLE....
having two options for each style crib
1. the traditional style crib
2. for your 2n1, 3n1 etc.. gives
parents/caregivers the choice of what they desire or looking without giving up the purpose of a bumper pad
You can't go wrong....THE BETTER BUMPER PAD is PATENT PENDING and I'm trying to get out there for everyone to experience. iT DOES NOT CLAIM TO PREVENT SIDS.....IT MINIMIZES THE BUMPS AND BRUISING THAT COME ALONG WITH HAVING AN INFANT/TODDLER AND A CRIB.
PICS are to large, so upon request if its allowable will forward accordingly. MY 2YR OLD USES THE DESIGN AND HAS NOT HAD AN ISSUE WITH THE STUCK LIMBS SINCE I MADE THE ORIGINAL...I LOOK FORWARD TO ANY INFO OR FEEDBACK PLEASE

Keep in mind that stuck limbs are not the only problem with bumper pads. The deaths due to SIDs has decreased by 40% since it has been recommended that parents remove any sort of bedding in the cribs of infants. With bumper pads, they are unsafe for newborns because they can roll into them and suffocate because they are still unable to move themselves away. At this age, they generally don't move enough during sleep to be injured by crib so they really shouldn't need a bumper pad (especially given those risks). I understand the visual appeal of the bumper pads, especially for moms right now b/c we grew up with that image of a nursery. But by the time they are no longer a danger for suffocation they become a very convenient stair for kids to climb on to try to get out of their crib. All in all, I think that the dangers outway the cute factor. There are plenty of other design features to complete a nursery, why risk the wellfare of your child simply because the bumper pads are cute?? Bottom line, do your research before you invest in a product with such a long "con" list.
I can tell you from experience I will NEVER have one again! When my son was only a couple months old we had a bumper pad in his crib matching the set,I figured little one don't move around to much so what's the harm? Until the morning I awoke to hear my son frantic in his bedroom(My son slept in his own crib from day one)when I went to see what the problem was somehow he had managed to wedge his little head between the crib and the bumper pad! Who knows what would of happened if I hadn't of come right away? The bumper pads went straight to the garbage and never returned! If we have another child if there isn't some kind of foolproof bumper pad out there; we will have none!
Prevention of SIDS is not claimed with my product. with the caution and guidelines that is used with bumper pads I believe it works as it supposed too. I did alot of looking at the pros and cons of bumper pads (regular bumper pads and breathable bumpers) my advise is this someone purely concerned of SIDS should not use bumpers till the child is older if they choose. There are alot of parent/caregivers out there that believe the stuck or hurt limbs is as well a priority. My design reduces that risk of limbs being harmed. my design makes it nearly impossible to alter ar manuver because it being sewn and not snapped or vecro'd you really need to look at what my design is and what it prevents.
