I have not had a good movement with my stool in a week now. I have only been able to 2 times in the week but it was like rabbit poop! it was pathetic and I have been trying a lot of different things.
I have been drinking A LOT of water, walking, drinking activias, green veggies, pregnant safe fiber/laxative metamucil, and sitting for half an hour in the bathroom
its starting to seem like this is VERY unhealthy for me and baby
I've talked to two different doctors and asked others for advice but have tried all the above things. Am I going to have to get cleaned out? I don't see my obgyn till june 23rd...
This has happened to me and I so I drank apple juice and it aced like a laxative!! I was going in no time! Good Luck, I know it sucks! :-(
I have a few home remedies, but i've not tried them. But have you tried Webmd for home treatment ideas?
Mineral Oil is a laxative so a tablespoon or so of that
Higher fat foods
Hope that helps. I drink a ton of Apple Juice regularly but nothing to do with movements and never effects it one way or the other. But not too many sweets can help.

So, this totally happened to me too. The amount of impaction was like nothing I had ever experienced, so I can honestly say how sorry I am that you are going through this. Nutritionally it sounds like you are doing what you need. I would up the fiber and drink it with a full glass of water, if you are not already. Also, a little grease might help -- pizza, mexican, etc. Not healthy but sometimes can help move it.
