    Default Yay for giraffes_buddy!!!!

    Congratulations on 100 posts!!!

This is another 'tool' that can be used to weed out the trolls. Most trolls (outside of our resident freak) will not make it to 100 posts.

If we keep an eye on people's posts and congratulate them for milestones (100, 500, 1000, 1500, 2000...) it may encourage people to stick around and will help us all in knowing who the real members are.

Also, feel free to congratulate yourself if no one notices.

    Soooooo, back to.....Wooooo Hooooo Girl!!!!!!!

Until you posted this, I had no idea it even counted how many posts.

And now I'm mad that I had to make a new name, because my number is no longer accurate! No fair!

    But, Happy 100, giraffe.

hehehehe! Thanks, guys! I'm counting on H.L.Starr to do my celebrating for me (BTW, that was a wine reference - not an internet fertility reference. Just though I'd clarify.)

...and to think that it's all because I can't keep my big mouth shut!

It's OK Heather. You only have 65 more posts to go before you're no longer a possible troll......hehe

Well....wine tends to lead to possible fertility....I think that's why my husband buys it for me all the time!

Two posts in a row is spamming/cheating on some forums. I've been on forums where if you posted 2 in a row the admin/mod would combine your posts and doc you one post in your count. I also belong to two forums that the software combines your posts if you post after yourself. I've been yelled at by admins for not editing my original post and posting below myself.

On the flip side I also belong to a forum that boarderline encourages spamming and the owner wants people to have the massive post counts.

Oh, jeez - editing your posts so that you don't have two in a row? That's just crazy. I mean, I guess it can look like you're talking to yourself, but I do that in real life, so why should I be prohibited from doing it on the internet?

Besides, sometimes it's beneficial to talk to yourself. It's when you argue with yourself and lose that you have a problem.

If I had posted twice responding to the same person, or talking about the same topic, that would be different. But each post was quoting and responding to a different one of you.

Besides, I use punctuation, I know how to spell, and I capitalize my sentences. I haven't seen a troll yet who can say the same.
