Default what do you think of this name

I suggested it and my hubby loves it. Keep in mind, we want something unusual

meh..kinda too quirky for my tastes, but I'm not a fan of naming babies after places, usually. You could do much worse, and if you & hubby love it, that's really all that matters.

Thanks for the honest replies ladies! Really, I loved the meaning... "from the land of the sea" as we live at the ocean. It also goes well with our last name and I think the nn Zea would be cute. I haven't thought of a middle name though. With all the names after places, Ireland, Paris, etc. I thought it wouldn't be too far fetched. Again, I appreciate the input.

I like some city/state/country names. I think it just depends on where you're from. I'm from McKenzie County, North Dakota, which is close to Montana. To me, names like McKenzie, Dakota, and Montana are incredibly stupid. Meanwhile, I really like the names Briton and Boston (I'm sure an Englishman or a Bostonian would think those names were silly.) If you don't foresee your kid living in New Zealand, I think it's safe.

I think it's great - Zealand is defintely quirky, but there also won't be 12 in his kindergarten class!
