I think children's television has come a long way. I think parents have to be involved with what they are allowing their children to watch. I also think it's important for parents and teachers to watch these shows. It helps us to be able to relate with our kids. As a teacher, I tie television shows into my lessons as much as I can. My students are much more engaged when I mention one of their favorite characters or shows. I have also found it so impressive that noggin has started adding content objectives before their television programs.
