I have a daughter who is 4 months old, Sophia, well i call her Sophie but same diff. and I seem to be the only one in Canon City Colorado. boring little town with nothing to do but i was raised here and i think its a great place to raise kids. my fiance says i need real friends too, cause i talk about things to him about on here.

We lived on Lakeshore! One of the big apartment complexes... darned if I remember what they renamed it, but it used to be called Harbor House.... right between Babbit Rd and 260th (funny I can remember the address, 23951 Lakeshore, but I can't remember the complex name! ). It's not the Americana, it was the big one west of that. If it weren't for the fact that after we moved in and new management took over (and my husband lost his job) we'd never have moved. It was a nice little apartment, we were ground floor so we had no view, but it was convenient. The new owners kept raising our rent by $100 every year, we were grandfathered in because we signed our lease before they bought the place, so they were trying to drive the old tenets out by raising the rent
We ended up in Kansas City and have regretted it ever since.

What a small world!!! I'm glad to hear you didn't live in the Americana. That place got pretty bad for a while there. A friend of mine had her appartment broken into while she was away for the weekend. When she got home her door was wide open and no one had done a thing about it.
