Pregnancy Dreams

So I am only about 10 weeks along but I had a very weird dream last night.
It started out where I went into labor and me and my best friend were in the delivery room, well my water broke and for some reason i got out of the bed and went to get my doctor. I told my doctor I needed him to come into my room, he looked at me and proceeded to tell me to wait. So I went back to my room and lied back in the bed and I felt like i needed to push so I got up again and told my doctor to come now he told me to hold on again. So I went back in the room and my friend was gone I was alone...So I ended up having the baby all by myself i even delivered that baby and caught it all by myself and delivered the placenta and everything. And then the baby talked to me it was a girl she said mommie why is the bed wet...Afterwards I got up and walked around the hospital and yelled at the nurses and couldnt find my doctor I was bawling...does anyone know what this means???

Lol wow well I remember having a dream that I had a kitten when I was pregnant with my four year old. And I also had a dream that I had no time to get to the hospital and I ended up delivering him on a hospital bed on the side of the express way, with everyone stopping and gathering around me watching...weird. I don't know about you but most of these dreams I have freak me out.

Well I must say that weird pregnancy dreams are the norm. With all 3 of my previous children I had some whoppers of dreams. Giving birth to kittens (where no one noticed but me), going down waterslides while pregnant among other things. I have always thought that these dreams are about our normal fears during pregnancy (what if I have to do this alone, what will delivery be like etc) just in strange dream like sequences where sometimes there happen to be cheese wheels hanging from the ceiling (I have yet to figure out what that one meant). Just consider yourself a normal mommy to be!

Many of my dreams seem to rekindle old romances? i am happily married, I promise, but seem to bring back the old flames when I'm sleeping. Just the other night I dreamt that I ran into an old boyfriend and we just talked and hung out. I was pregnant in my dream which was the strange part. Anyone else?

I have had all sorts of crazy pregnancy dreams. Two weirdest:
1) I was breastfeeding a dog
2) My baby could come hang out with me - still attached but on the outside - but it wasn't like I had gone through labor or anything. Weird!

LOL I'm enjoying these! Seems like baby animals are a common theme, I also gave birth to kittens (dd was delighted even though I was weirded out!) I've also had bizarre "romance" dreams, one very steamy "episode" with a co-worker I don't even find attractive - I felt weird around him all the next day.

During pg #3 I dreamt I went into labor in bed and passed out. When I came to, hubby had delivered the baby and swaddled it in blankets next to me. He was in the kitchen making breakfast for the older 2 and telling them to hush, Mom & baby were resting and they could go see us when I woke. Then I suddenly realized I didn't even know the sex of the baby, so I quickly unwrapped the blankets and discovered I'd had a boy! We didn't find out the sex (in real life) and when the baby actually came, he was a boy... so maybe I had a little ESP?!?

When I was pregnant I had a dream that my stomach just opened, like a big hole, and I picked my son up out of it. He could also talk immediately.
Dreams are always just a manifest of your subconscious thoughts. So somewhere in the back of your mind, even if you don't realize it, you're thinking "Oh god what would I do if I had to have this baby all alone? What if I couldn't get ahold of my dr in time?" etc etc.
Its completely normal.

I am not currently pregnant, but impatiently waiting until its time to start trying for #2, and I had a dream the other night that I was pregnant with triplet girls. In order to determine the sex, I had to pee on three sticks like pregnancy tests (one for each baby) and it either turned pink or blue. They were all pink.
I think its because I really want to be pregnant, I might die if I had twins, let alone triplets, and I don't want any daughters, I'm hoping for all boys.

Dreams, pregnant or not, just take all your thoughts and smush them together in typically ridiculous ways.

I dreamed I was at a warehouse shoe store and someone stole the shoes I wore into the store. I was really upset. It woke me up. Totally bizarre. I never would have dreamed that if I wasn't pregnant.

hahaha! These are funny. With my first pregnancy I dreamed I gave birth to a lizard. I was in teh hospital pushing and pushing and I looked down and saw the tail come out (it was green and bright blue) then out came a boy lizard. So weird! I woke up almost in tears thinking my child was going to look like a lizard. I ended up giving birth to a boy, but not a lizard.
