    Question dont eat FISH

I don't feed Fish to my 22 months old because we are vegetarian. What should I give her to get enough DHA or Omega? Can I give her any fish medicine or liquid? If yes, suggest me some. I am really worried about her nutrition.
    Thanks

I'd ask your pediatrician. I do know that some soymilk has omega-3 in it, and you can buy kid yogurt with DHA in it (stonyfield farm has an organic version, yoplait has a nonorganic version). You can also use "next step" formula in addition to milk to get her some extra vitamins. I know Enfamil makes vitamins for babies/toddlers, and maybe one of those has DHA in it, I'm not really sure.

I looked this up. Hope it helps. I also read that flaxseed, soy, and canola oils are sources.

I add flaxmeal in our baked goods. It adds a nice nutty flavor to stuff like pancakes and banana bread. It has a good amount of omega-3s and stuff.

Have a read of this About page, it's mentions:

walnuts, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, cooking with canola oil and soy, some eggs are now fortified with Omega oil

    Default Salba

I have found the best source of Omega 3's for my son (not to mention all of the other nutrients: antioxidants, fiber, calcium. I add salba seed to his food (cereal, sandwiches, pasta, ect). Plus they have these GREAT nutrition bars that he loves. They dont have any processed sugar and junky stuff found in other child "nutrition" bars. I would highly recommend you try these products. I have done my homework and salba is FAR superior in nutirition than flax. Good Luck!!!
