Unhappy my friends 25 month old ....

is having a problem with taking his diaper off every night. If he has Pooped in it, he will smear it alllll over the place including on himself. My friend has been told to use duct tape to keep it on but she doesnt want to do that. Anyone have any tips or ideas as to why hes doing this or how to stop it?? Thanks

This is a common behavior with toddlers. An outfit he cannot get off. Cut the feet out of a sleeper that zips, and put it on him backwards.

I was going to suggest duct tape also, but Cay: thats a great idea about the sleepers. Maybe he is ready to potty train. One of the signs that they are ready is not wanting a dirty diaper. Your friend may have to go take him potty a couple times a night though.
