    Default diapers

ok, so since my daughter has been born, she has had pampers swaddlers (got a ton for my baby shower) with an exception of one small package of white cloud (part of a game we played at my baby shower). now that we have ran out of the diapers we got for my baby shower we have been trying to find some god but not so expensive diapers. in our town we have only a walmart that carries, white cloud, parents choice, luvs, huggies, and pampers. we have found that the white cloud and parents choice irritate my daughter. i also don't like them because they are square and don't form to her bottoms curves like the pampers do. so i was wondering if anyone had anything good to say about luvs and huggies. or what ever diapers you use or prefer. i honestly prefer the pampers but they are usually 20 bucks for 80 diapers (and that usually last only a week, maybe). please help.

When DD was a newborn, I preferred the Pampers as well. When she got a little older, more infant than newborn, Huggies worked much better for her. We tried Parents Choice and Luvs as well - both leaked every time, and the Parents Choice just didn't fit very well at all. We didn't try White Cloud.

We've been using Huggies ever since we did our trial and error run. She's almost completely potty trained and more into pull ups now!

    Hi jolee,
I have a 3 month old and have used pampers swaddlers since she was born, i found on diapers.com, they have luvs, for 33.99, and i have used those on her since last week, they dont leak and fit her body nicely, if you use diapers.com, go to retailmenot.com, and you get a 10.00 off coupon plus free shipping over $49.00, they also carry huggies too!but being a mom who doesnt work, luvs were the cheapest in proce but the highest in quality. Check it out

I use huggies all the time for my son, no leaks and they stay in place. I have used luvs too and they worked fine, but they tend to be harder to find. My mother bought some luvs and they were scented, so if you go with them, just check the package. Chances are if other brands have irritated your daughter, the scented ones would too.

Have you looked into the cost savings of cloth diapers? My little one is very sensitive to disposables so that was our solution. Cost depends on the type of cloth diaper you end up using (prefolds are cheapest- All-in-ones are the most expensive), but even if you buy the most expensive set, you're still saving in the long run. If cloth isn't something you want to pursue, we used luvs for our daughter and they worked just fine She was in pampers swaddlers when she was born too. Don't you just wish Pampers would make them in all sizes?

I have tried almost every kind of diapers out there with my son (Many were baby shower gifts) and I have found luvs to be great and cheaper than huggies or pampers. The only problem we have had is that his luvs sometimes leak at night (he generally sleeps from 8:30 pm to 6 am). We have solved this problem by using the next size up (4) for night time because he weighs 22 lbs, which is in the middle of size 3, but also the beginning of size 4.

We are big Huggies fans, but since my husband was laid off work, we started on Luvs to save a little money. I think they are just as good as Huggies. Like Jenn, we do put one size bigger on him for bedtime and since we've done that we haven't had one single leak.

Loved Pampers Swaddlers, but once my son grew out of those, I prefered Huggies, when he moved to pullups, we use Pampers. For an infant, I would definitly go with Huggies, they have better leak preotection.

I guess I'm the opposite of most on here when I say that I don't really like huggies. We just stick with the swaddlers. I had gotton Huggies at my shower and came home with Pampers from the hospital. When we ran out of the Pampers I started to use the Huggies. Every diaper change there was poop on her clothes so we went back to the Pamper Swaddlers. I also think they are softer than the huggies. The Huggies left her all red down there.

All I know about is the Swaddlers can't say much about the other kind of Pampers.

What ever diaper you choose go to their website and sign up for coupons and special promotions, Pampers have codes on the bags that hold the diapers (inside the boxes) you enter them in and its a reward system you redeem so many points for gift certificates, places like the movies, Old Navy etc. They also mail me coupons.
