With each of my pregnancies I have lost 10-20 lbs in the first 3-4 months. All 3 times without ever having morning sickness. It's just the way my body works. I am sure it is the same for you. Just keep eating healthly.

WOW. No sickness for you, I'm jealous. I am currently at then end of my 15th week and to date I think I am at a loss of 11 lbs. At first because food was the most disgusting thing ever but at the last doctors appointment he wasn't concerned. My sister's friend also lost about 15 lbs during her last pregnancy and her babies are beautiful and healthy. The way I figure it, is so long as I am still eating and not starving myself my baby is going to get the nutrients he/she needs to grow.

One should not loose weight during pregnancy because it effects the growth of your baby.

    Default weight loss

don't worry about loosing weight, during my first pregnancy I only gained 7lbs and that wasn't until the very end. I am pregnant again and am following the same path. I am now 23 weeks and i have lost 23lbs. it is not a problem as long as you are not doing it on purpose and you are still eating healthy.

Im 35 weeks and I've loss a total of 48 lbs my doctor told me it was normal cause I was 191 at my first appt. I wouldn't worry as long as it's not to much at one time.

What you have to remember is... your metabolism is speeding up, which is also why you may be more hungry and tired. Some women lose weight, I lost 10 pounds in the beginning with my first and only about 5 with my second. I plateaued for a good few months in my second trimester this second pregnancy because I workout religiously. For both of my pregnancies, I gained the most weight at the end.

There's a huge misconception between women and men, and people who've never been pregnant that all pregnant women need to be big, plump fast-food eating, ice cream munching "Oh, I'm eating for two" machines. FAT is not good for you or your baby. You will naturally gain weight if you eat healthy because your breasts are getting bigger and you have amniotic fluid, extra blood, and a baby growing inside of you.
Your baby doesn't really weigh anything until the second half of your pregnancy, then he'll grow rapidly.

Absolutely, healthy diet is the first and the foremost right of every human being and in the case of pregnancy it is of the utmost importance. If you don't like these stuffs, you could have some suggestions from your doc. There are some cases where women do lose weight during pregnancy, but if you are not sure just ask your doc. and even if you feel unsatisfied opt for a second opinion.

It will be more beneficial if you concentrate on nutritious food apart from fatty foods. Healthy body is really very good rather than fat body....
