Scheduled c-section

Was wondering if there are any other mommies having a scheduled c-section? After a complicated labor with my first son my Doctor determined it safest to have a second c-section. I wasn't thrilled by this but he's the doctor so I'm going along with it, only my section is scheduled only 3 days before my due date....does this seem weird to anyone else considering labor is supposed to be so dangerous? Also I'm scheduled for the section at 5.30pm....I just think its all very weird!

No, I don't think it's weird to have a scheduled c-section. I will have to have one myself because of my last c-section. If your doctor thinks it's more dangerous to have natural child birth than trust them. I wish you all the best.
