I'm sure it isn't as bad as it sounds, but I would hope that they don't charge you for having to have it a second time when it was the hospitals fault for not doing it properly. This is happening more as doctors are leaving looser circumcisions.

I am a circumcised male, and I am very upset that my parents decided that it would be beneficial to remove 60 to 85% of the erogenos sensory nerve endings from my penis. Mechanically, the circumcised penis is very different from the intact penis. That extra "flap" of skin is what covers the erection in the intact male. In the circumcised male, very often, there isn't enough skin left, even stretched very tightly, so the extra needed skin is pulled up from the pubic area, which is why often a large percentage of the erect penis is covered with hair in the circumcised male. Of course, this extra skin isn't constructed to do this, so the whole pubic mound comes with it, resulting in quite a deformed affair, rendering a good portion of the circumcised penis unusable.

It is largely accepted that the vagina was never intended to provide enough lubrication for the circumcised penis, due to loss of the gliding motion of the penis and foreskin. Often this becomes much more of a problem in the aging female due to less lubrication, which is falsely blamed on the female. This is much less of a problem with the intact penis. The aging circumcised man also has more problems with obtaining an erection and ejaculation, due to loss of sensory input caused by amputation.
I mostly feel sorry for your son, but you also, because you were largely responsible for his loss.

How can you not take off enough? This is absurd. In fact, cutting any part of a baby boy's penis is what is really absurd. Let's see, he is one day old and someone takes a razor sharp knife and cuts off a part of his penis? Why would any mother allow this? Unfortunately mine did too. It is the child's penis! Men all over the world live with an intact penis without any fear of infection, disease or other supposed misinformed benefit. Do not remove any more of the sexually enervated skin! No such thing as taking too little off requiring a second circumcision. This is just ridiculous thinking. I think I would sue the second dr. for suggesting a second circumcision.
