Hi to all the new Sept mommies. I hope I get to pick my csection date of 9/9/09 but I dont get to pick until March. I have been feeling pretty good, just a few yucky smells and tiny bouts of nausea. Oddly I had a weird new sympton, instead of nausea being caused by hunger, I get it if I eat a whole meal. I can only eat half and stop very very short of full or I feel total yack! I never had this. I also wonder if I feel pretty good since I currently work alot to support my family and I am too busy to think about it. I get to 'retire' at the end of this so yayayay! I am thinking of signing up to teach an extra college class this summer and trying to picture myself that big and teaching HA!
I also had 1 'spotting' this week, anyone ever get that random spot?
Well wishes and strong tummy to all. (pretzels saved me with #2.)

    Hello All....

I am new to this site, and blog. I am pregnant with my 2nd, due 9\11\09 (I dont like that date for obvious reasons...) My daughter is 11 yo. I'm not sure how I feel about such a large gap between children, but I have been told this can be an advantage, because you have a much older child to help you...Other than that, we're excited!! This is the first for my fiancee, and he has been very supportive so far. Sea bands are my bestest friend right now, and since I put them on almost 3 weeks ago, I have not taken them off, except to shower/bathe. I'm exhausted, and had to take one trip to the ER already for sharp pains I was having. Turns out it was a cyst, which should go away by week 12. This forced me to break the news to my management before the 2nd trimester. Good luck to all those who are pregnant, expecially those who have had a difficult time gettnig here, and I look forward to learning more about you all!!

    Talking My first Appt!!!

hello to all the new sept mommies that seem to have popped up in the last week Congrats. Well I had my first official appt with the OBGYN, the other meeting I had was just with the nurse so I'm not counting it as an appt. Everything Looks good. Right on schedule like I should be. My due date remains the same of Sept 3rd 2009 and we are very excited. Also I even got to see a picture of what I lovingly call my Alien. yep I had an ultrasound already. I was not expecting one the day I went to see the OB. I thought at most I would hear the heartbeat via doppler but nope it was my wee ones first picture. Yes I have gained only 2 lbs since the appt with the nurse about 2 1/2 weeks ago. but my nausea has done very little to subside, in fact the dr. this time is letting me try some reglan a medicine safe to use in pregnancy to help with the nausea. So far I have taken only 3 tabs and no puking yet some nausea subsides some so I am able to function somewhat. Well I'm glad everyone is hanging in there and we will talk soon I'm sure take care and congrats to all the new mommies!!!!!!!

Yay I am glad to see more mommies joining. I found out at 3 wks so I have been waiting for this group to get really active! We are coming into 2nd trimester YAY.
I had a second U/S this week due to spotting. Everything is fine! It got so big from week 6 to week 8.5. It had a head, eyes, body and hands that were visable! There is a small chance I will get another this week if the doppler cant pick up the heartbeat yet. Now that I saw it again and its growing I am telling more people. I am still so so so tired!! Waiting for energy to pick up. I also cant button my pants now (darn #3). Gotta start shopping soon!!
OH for those this is not #1 I showed my daughter a few youtube videos of newborns. She thinks it comes out playing and talking-this helped her alot!

well first Congrats to all the new sept mommies!
all i can say is this one is giving me a run for my money! everything is happening! i had a pretty bad scare last week, some major bleeding going on, had my numbers checked and i have to check them again but the Dr said he wasnt gonna call me since i have my first appt on Monday unless something was wrong with the test so i guess no news is good news! this may be TMI (but hey were all pregnant so we know whats going on) so i never had any of this with my son, i am constipated, hemorrhoids, yeast infection, heart burn, and tons of headaches! i just cant wait till i go to the Dr and can tell him everything and maybe he can give me something to help! but other then that my nausea has went away but that came with not being able to button or zip my pants! yep im getting that big and im only 9weeks today! i just hope i will be able to hear a heart beat on monday that will just make me so happy!!!
ginger- i hope that helps your daughter with a new baby coming! hopefully she will be a big help and go into the change easy, i would of never thought of youtube! thats a good idea!

ok im SO nervous! Monday is my first Dr appt! im so worried that something will go wrong or he finds something wrong! AHHHHH! i thought i would be excited to go but i think im more nervous! I'll be 9 1/2 weeks so i know there might be a possibility that we wont hear the heart beat but i think it will kill me if we dont with all the problems i've been having! i just dont know what to do with myself!?? and how the heck am i gonna go and get my exam done with my 2yr old in the room? i know they have toys in there but that just scares me! he needs to know everything! so i just hope he leaves the Dr alone to do his exam!

Hello, hope you are all well. I now have an endocrinologist and dietician in addition to my OB, since I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes and have to be on a special diet. I was not surprised, as I experienced the same thing while I was pregnant with my daughter. I am in my 11th week, and I think that my nausea has subsided. I just realized I took one of my nausea bands off this morning while I was cooking and never put it back on...LOL...YAY!!! On the down side, I am supposed to be taking a trip to Trinidad & Tobago (BF is from there) in mid April, and now that I have the GD diagnosis, I am not sure that my doctors will let me go. BF is upset, and is really hoping the doctors give me the all clear when I have my respective appts with them this week, because he says 'It won't be fair' especially with everything else I have had to and will endure during my pregnancy. Have my first official sono on 3/3, and we can't wait. Trying 2 keep my spirits up in the hopes of being able to take this vacation...take care!

so i went to the Drs and i didnt have to worry about my 2yr old, my hubby got home early from work and he had to stay home cause he was waiting for U.P.S and it was a package he had to sign for so he stayed home with my son! YAY! but onto my appt, i guess my uterus is tilted backwards. but we did hear the heart beat YAY! so i guess with a tilted uterus it makes it harder to hear it, and normally can start to hear it between 11-13 weeks. well im only 9 1/2 weeks so im going thursday for an u/s to check the dates and to make sure everything is growing the way its supposed to! so im kinda nervous about the u/s i just hope they give me good news!
so i will talk to you all later!
