    Question any advice?

I was looking for a forum on here for special needs children but I couldn't find one:[ I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me. I have 3 small children 5, 4, and 2. my 2 year old was recently diagnosed with autism. He spaces out, does repetitive things, bites, and doesn't talk much (the words he does say usually are just to repeat me they don't mean anything). Most of the time he is just quiet but he is strong!! We had to put locks on everything and remove all of our kitchen chairs and kids chairs because he climbs. But basically how do you disipline a child who basically ignores your presence? He repeatedly destroys anything in his way (DVD's, my son's school papers, my daughters toys) and when he gets aggressive he is STRONG!! what do I do?

Does he have some early childhood education professionals working with him? They can be an EXCELLENT resource for help like this...especially the preschool teachers who manage classrooms composed of kids with special needs. Because he has a diagnosis, there will be a lot of FREE services you can tap. Don't hesitate to ask lots and lots of questions. Good luck to you!

Have a look at this: http://edition.cnn.com/2008/US/04/02...ent/index.html
You can also find a lot more about them and what they did.
Also if you ever get a chance, listen to Zig Ziglar recordings about this kind of problems.
    Hope this helps.
