    Default Cricket!

I first heard of the name Cricket on the first season of The Starter Wife. I thought it was cute but I would have to say Cricky is not so much. Also I don't think it's a unisex name.

Cricket sounds like a girl's name to me too.

Cricket sounds like an INSECT to me!
Why on earth do parents go out of their way to make sure their child is made fun of and embarrassed all throughout their childhood?

I've always heard that as a nickname for Christine.
Sometimes employers let their employees go by nicknames that they prefer . . .

If you want your child to get attention, that's a good way. If it's just a nickname, why not go for it? It could be kind of cute.

That is correct, at my job they allow us to go by nicknames, as long as it is not something obnoxious like “white chocolate” lol.

I go by “Dee” at my job and pretty much everywhere, I am not too fond of the name my father chose for me. If it was her actual name, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it, you have names like Lovely, Hennessey, Lexus, Diamond, Princess, Love, Mercedes and Mylove, all which I have come across nothing wrong with it. You could name your kid booger, someone will like it. I named my daughter Abigail Bellini. I tried to choose a name that wasn’t so common like Sophia, or Chloe, but I didn’t want something so different like Hennessey lol.
