Default Which one of my kids is right?

So, I have a 16 year old son, and a 12 year old daughter. The 16 year old drives the 12 year old to school. The 16 year old listens to rock music, but the 12 year old can't stand it. She can't even here a second of it without getting mad. My son wants to listen to his music, but to keep the 12 year old happy I just tell him to not play music.

Is it okay If I tell my 16 year old he can listen to it at a reasonable volume, or is that not fair to my 12 year old? There is no cussing. The 12 year old has OCD and that might be one of the reasons that she doesn't like the music.

Get the 12 year old an Ipod with ear phones. It is not right to tell the 16 year old that he can't listen to his music. That looks like you are siding with the 12 year old. Telling the 16 year old to keep the volume reasonable is not unreasonable. If the 12 year old doesn't like the idea of using an ipod to listen to alternative programming then maybe she should just ride the bus instead of riding with her brother.
