My son smokes cigarettes.

First of, my son isn't a slacker or looser. He features a half time job, gets sensible grades at school, plays soccer, and features a boyfriend(he's gay). the sole downside is that he smokes marijuana everyday.

A few weeks ago, I noticed a clicking noise coming back from his lavatory whereas he was taking a shower. consecutive day, once hearing the noise, i noticed it had been a lighter. once he was done together with his shower, I unfolded a cabinet in his lavatory to seek out atiny low box. once gap this box, I found:
-Lighters
-twine
-some marijuana
-a pipe
I soon noticed that he smokes everyday.
I quickly closed the box therefore I might suppose a lot of regarding it. As I said on top of, he's not a loser, and his use of marijuana doesn't have an effect on the remainder of his life. he's excellent child, and has never been in any major bother together with his college or the law. Also, i do know regarding the facts behind the drug, and that i perceive totally that marijuana is not that dangerous. Oh yeah, he is 16.

Should I simply still act like i do not understand his drug use? Or ought to I do one thing. Help?

I suggest strongly to have a chat with your son saying if he is stressed about anything in life and tell him exactly what you have mentioned here that he is a great child. I suggest not to tell him yet that you know it.

He is loosing some connection somewhere and is getting hooked. Once he opens, give him confidence that stopping is easy once he understands that you are all with him.
