    Cool 1st trimester...

    Hello,
I am new to this forum and new to the world of pregnancy! this is our first child and we are super excited..i have been reading the blogs and all... I didn't get morning sickness symptoms or craving or dizziness, nor do i feel hungry so much..Though i eat small amounts of food/fruits at regular intervals, but do feel thirsty alot. Is that something normal!!! I am completely new to motherhood, so would appreciate some guidance

    Thank you,
    Subuhi

    Hello Subuhi,
First of all congradulations on your pregnancy! I am pregnant as well with my first child and I understand how exciting it is and how confusing it is as well. It is perfectly normal not to feel a lot of syptoms and then again it is normal to feel a lot of syptoms at the same time. Every woman is different and some are lucky enough to not get the morning sickness or then odd cravings. Also, even if you do not experience weird watermelon cravings in the middle of the night or feel faint at random, that does not mean you will not experience these later on. Either way, do not worry. As for the extra fluids this is very normal and in fact healthy. It is essential that you drink plenty of water throughout the day. It not only keeps away the annoying fainting and nausea but also carries vital nutrients to your baby.

I hope I was able to help a little and good luck!

    Sincerly,
    Lacy
