monster mash creating a monster!

Is it just me or are the cartoons and toys becoming a little too far out there? I have a step daughter who we have 50% of the time. She stays w us for a week every other week and I really dont have much say over her because everything I try to teach her anything her mother just reverses it the moment she gets her back. Any way me step daughter is seven and she is waaaay into this new barbie or whatever it is Monster Mash. So over the course of the last few months I have been noticing little changes about her that I dont like. For example this morning I ran into a drawing of hers that is of these Skanky cartoon characters that are missing there legs and the legs are laying on the floor next to them.

Before she use to draw cute innocent things (she is huge into drawing and very good at it)

Well anyway, my problem is that I see how much of an impression this new toy is having on her and I dont think I can do anything about it. Her mother seems to think it is ok so what can I do???
Me and her mom dont talk because she hates me so that isnt a option either.

Ill take any advice I can get, but I pretty sure I am just going to have to sit on the side lines and watch what is being created.

it is sad, i HATE that biomoms make it so hard for stepmoms... but honestly your best bet is to get biodad on your side on this matter and have HIM talk to her about it... and if he doesn't see the problem, then unfortunately there is nothing you can do. the best thing that us stepmoms are are cheerleaders for the biodads
