So,about a month ago my little boy became very horrified of bathtime. He has always enjoyed getting a bath and playing with his toys. Now when I step foot in the bathroom with him he starts screaming before I even put him in.He stands up and hangs his head and arms over the side while crying hysterically.I have tried getting in with him,but its still the same. Not sure if this is a faze or what?????
That's a tough one! It's hard when our kids suddenly decide they don't like something and you can't figure out why! But, I wonder if maybe something scared him that you didn't notice and that's why he's upset about bath time? In fact, I'm at Focus on the Family and I heard a short broadcast they did on this subject called "Bath Time Terror" that you might want to look up on their website. It talked about what might cause situations like these and what you can do to get things back to normal. So, just a thought! I hope bath time gets easier soon.
My 2 year old daughter did the same thing around about the same age. She only just started liking them again. I wouldn't be too worried about and just try to power through it. Could just be trying to assert his independence. We did find that bathing our daughter in the sink seemed to help sometimes.
When I read the title of your post, I naturally assumed you were speaking of a daughter. The idea that the post is describing behavior exhibited by your son is hard to believe, and I am forced to wonder whether "boy" was a typo. Your child definitely needs to grow a cock and man the fuck up. I would suggest spanking him to toughen him up. If he doesn't want to bathe, don't feed him. It's simple; you cannot let your son continue to behave in this feminine way...you don't want him to end up gay.
