night time potty training

My son was potty trained during the day at about 2 1/2 years old and is now almost 4 and still wears a pull up at night. I have tried the last couple days having him wear underware to bed as he wants to but he has wet the bed everynight. Is this the right way to go about this or is there a better idea to try???

At four his body may not be ready to go dry at night. His bladder may not be big enough yet or he may not have developed the hormone needed to slow down urine production at night. He doesn't have much control at night and may not wake at the sensation of a full bladder. Since he is day potty trained, I would just wait. Some moms wake up kids 1 or 2 times a night so they pee on the potty and go back to sleep. If you are concerned, feel free to ask your doctor about it. Hope that helps.
