Our family of four recently moved from California to Colorado. before the move our Children were excited about the move, but now my 5 year old son complains about living in Colorado at least once a week, and always talks about moving back to California.
The main reason that he wants to move back to California is my wife's mother, she watched the kids several times a week and he misses her a lot.
I certainly want my Children to be happy about the move, and I'm not sure if this will pass over time, or if there are things we can do to help him enjoy living in Colorado more?
It is obvious that your heart aches for your daughter and I commend you for your desire to reach out to her. Leaving your extended family behind is hard on the whole family, but it’s especially tough for kids.
