My 4yr old is deathly afraid of fire works and other loud noises, we recently took her to a hibachi grill and when the chef made a flame flash she freaked out. But with summer coming up I was wondering if there was anything I can do to help her get over this fear, also my in-laws took her a car show parade last summer and since she didn't like the loud noises the cars made they brought noise reducing headphones, so now she expects those everytime as well, I am really not a fan of the headphones because I don't want her to become dependent on them but ever since she had them she has been even worse with the noise factor. If anyone has any advice it would be great, I would hate for her to miss out on these summer activities!
Thanks!
Put her in a room and toss a few bottle rockets in with her, she won't ever ***** about fireworks again.
