Unhappy No more patience for my 8yr old

I am a dad of 4 little girls so my days at home are none stop..."daddy daddy!" which is fine but my oldest (8yrs old) has my patience worn beyond thin. Recently her behavior has gone too far...she's bullying her younger sisters and literally doing some very dispicable acts which involve; urinating in buckets and hiding them around the house, sneaking food at all hours of the day and night, stealing my tools & hardware just to destroy her bedroom, nearly poisining my youngest by breaking into our cleaning supplies...my house smells of pee and I'm constantly fighting off bugs because of what she's done.
But, even though she's been caught repeatedly, she denies it all! She has no memory of ever doing any of it...I've tried talking, I've tried discipline by taking away prevlidges but it only makes things worse. I am seriously contemplating taking her to a counselor and hopefully get some answers...or can someone offer some advice and then some?!

I am glad you posted here! I can certainly understand your concerns about your daughter's behavior. During my time with Focus on the Family, I came across this series of articles http://bit.ly/GEvDYd that discusses the various approaches and creative ideas on discipline, as well as some of the reasons kids may misbehave. If you get a chance, also check out the broadcast called “Surviving the Strong-Willed Child” http://bit.ly/lzk2Dg (part 1) and http://bit.ly/GD3G4B (part 2). They also have counselors who are available to talk with you by phone. It's free of charge and they have a lot of experience in walking parents through behavioral issues like these. Their phone number is 1-855-771-HELP. In the meantime, I will be praying for wisdom, insight, and strength for you.
