Hello everyone. I'm hoping some people, hopefully even some experts, can help me out. My son turned 1 in January and started daycare right after his birthday. Ever since he started going there he has been very temperamental at home. He smacks a lot, screams and pitches fits when he doesn't get his way and just recently started screaming when he gets mad and sometimes even walks around and screams for no reason. I just don't know what to do. He was never like this before and I know they learn stuff from other kids but how can I get him to be nicer like he was before. He never through fits. Is he just getting into the temper stage and I am just in denial? lol. I see kids in grocery stores that would show their butts off and I was so happy that my child was so good...and now he is that way. I guess I am asking what is a good way to approuch a fit or a good way to handle him smacking in the face? yesterday he threw a fit and I picked him up and asked him what was wrong and he smacked me in the face....not sure if thats normal for their age.
