    Question Gerd?

My son has had a very eventful first 7 weeks of life, last week he was hospitalized with bronchiolitis, when we were in the hospital the doctor said he had tracheomalacia {sp?} he was released Friday and by Saturday he started sounding like crap again so Monday it was back to the doctors and he had an ear infection well after a long night, he woke up at 6:30 pm fussy but not too bad tell he went to sleep at 12:30am, thinking hew was going to sleep good I went to bed only for him to be back up at 1:30 screaming tell 4, I decided to google. He had always arched his back a lot i never thought anything of this tell last night when he was doing it a lot more with screaming and he seemed like he was in pain surly not comfortable, while google brought me to believe he has GERD anybody have any experience with this. I didn't think he spit up more then my other two did but its been 2 1/2 years since my daughter was born so maybe he does. Also i started noticing a week and a half ago that sometimes he will drink a couple goulps from his bottle just to spit it out, arch his back and scream at the top of his lungs (I thought thia was from the congestion originally and thought the arching of his back was just from him being mad)

I also panic everytime my son screams after he spits up..My doctor said gurd was the reason for it. He said I should wait for his food to settle down for a few minutes and elevate his head a little..I also place my baby on a baby bean bag while I do chores. The ones made by Chibebe are great.
