I'm due August 29h with my second child. Hopefully, next Thursday, I find out what the sex is. I'm excited either way, but it would be more convienent if it was a boy because I still have all my baby stuff from my first son. LOL, but it'll give me an excuse to go shopping! YEA! Hopefully we'll get more people on here to chat with.......Good luck with your preganancy girls!

I'm going to have my ultrasound done tomorrow! We didn't find out with the first two boys, but I want to find out with this one. My husband didn't want to, but I told him "tough". If this is going to be our last kid, I want to find out one time, mainly for peace of mind, and to see if it's right when the time comes. Has anyone else been super emotional with this pregnancy? I figure that my baby has to be a girl this time b/c my hormones and emotions have ran way higher than with my boys! LOL

    Default Due August 16th

    Hi Ladies!
I am due with our first August 16th. We found out last week it is a girl--Briana Marie. I had a dream early in the pregnancy, so I was pretty sure it was a girl and my dh told me I was crazy, I told him ok, lets wait and see. Well, I was right, lol. I did feel alittle bad though bc when the sonogram showed it was a girl, you could see the disappointment on my dh's face. That lasted about a day, and ever since he just keeps telling everyone (excitedly) I am having a daughter!!! And when he ran to the store the other day, he came home to tell me bout the pretty dresses he was looking at. Pretty funny since he hates to shop. I think what finally clicked was he realized, we tried for 4 years to get pregnant and were 2 weeks from starting all the meds for IVF and surprise, surprise! While I would love 4 kids, living on Long Island, that is just not really feasible cost wise. So, hopefully, we will be able to have one more and my dh will get a son!

I'm due September 5th but my Dr. said that they won't let me go past 38 weeks so that puts me around August 22nd. When I went to my first OB/GYN appt they told me I was pregnant with twins. We did not take any drugs to help get pregnant. They are identical, meaning that one egg was fertalized then early on it split into two. I have a son that will be 20 months old when the twins are born. Now we are having two more boys. Our dog is even a male. We only wanted 2 kids but I guess God had other plans for us. I'm happy that they are boys because it gives my older son some playmates.

Congratulations to you and best of luck.

Ilkarloff, best of luck to YOU!! You are definitely going to have your hands full. I always said I wouldn't mind having twins, but they would have to be the first pregnancy, b/c then you wouldn't know any better! Your older son will be such a "helper", I'm sure.
