    Default Need help/ advise... ASAP

My oldest daughter was potty trained at 13 months. She thought it was fun because I got her one of those Elmo search and find books. Anyway, some things happened and I couldn't keep her (health reasons) so I sent her to her dads. I have her back now. I had to re teach her to use the potty, which she did most of the time. She just recently had constipation issues and was afraid to "go" in the potty. Well I took her to a doctor, which by the way miralax should be called miracle lol. Anyway now she won't go at all hardly.
She is now 3 almost 4 next month...
    My question is

What do I do? Could this be psychological? Should I put her in time out or lay her down when she doesn't go to the potty?

    I'm lost.

It sounds like its psychological. I wouldnt punish her when she doesnt go potty. It sounds like something has happened, I would take her back to the pediatrician and tell him what's happening and see what adivce they give you. I wonder if going to her dad's and coming back to you freaked her out and she's upset about something. I'd try talking to her. Instead of punishing her for not potty training, praise her for what she does do. She if you can give her treats for just sitting on the potty and praising her for trying. Good luck!
