    Cool Really??!! C'mon. . . .

This is an article I came across about a woman being arrested after "murdering" her "virtual husband's" character. Are we for real? Oh, wait, I guess not!

Too funny! My DH was just reading that article to me last night. We were laughing so hard! She was arrested for breaking into her virtual hubby's account and deleting all his character info (in essence, killing him). Absolutely hilarious! Seriously though - can we say GET A LIFE! A real one.

Gives a new connotation to "Till Death Do We Part". Mua hahahaha

She should use an insanity defense - the fact that she played that stupid game and was 'virtually' married should lend credence to that claim.

I hadn't really thought about it, but my mom brought up a good point after I read her the article. Our kids are growing up in such a "techno" world, is the line between reality and cyberspace becoming blurred? Yes, this woman got her revenge online. But who's to say that someone wouldn't take it a step further and go after that person in the real world? Like I said to my mom, I'm guilty of escaping to cyberspace every time I come here to talk with you guys, but I also know that I have real-life relationships around me as well. We need to make sure that as our little babies, toddlers, and preschoolers get older that they understand the importance of reality. . . . . Sorry if I rambled here; I'm so tired right now!

True, but none of us are gonna get married and virtually kill each other either.

well I went from pong ( yes the game with the white ball and paddle) to atari where I had a box of bandages next to me. to killing bowser on mario brothers on nintendo, to double dragon on nintendo 64. then came the all might playstation where I grew up killing all kinds of things, then ps2 and xbox where the online world came to life with the game halo. now we have ps3 and xbox360 where millions yes millions of people are signed on line playing all kinds of action and war came killing each other everyday. so I guess i need locked up and thrown in jail for killing some zombees and warewolves. to add to the newspaper add. in my local paper was the column on the avatar and right below it was an article about a 72yr old lady taken to jail for keeping a football yes a football. here neighbors kids kept throwing a football in her yard and going in and getting it, they where destoying her flowers and she had enough. so she took the ball into her house. well the cops where called and when she refused to give the ball back they arrested her for theft of a 12dollar football.
