Hello all! My DD will be turning 6 next month and she's asked for a baby doll. She has 2 babies that she dragged around when she was little, but now I want to get her something special that she will really treasure. The first doll that comes to everybody's mind is the Bitty Baby, but personally I don't know what all the fuss is about with them. They have lots of sweet accessories, but I've seen much cuter baby dolls out there. The Bitty Twins are cute too- we've considered those. So, in my search for the perfect doll I came across the Zapf Annabell doll. She is interactive- babbles, sleeps, drinks from her bottle, cries, etc. and my daughter thought she was really neat. My concern, though, is that the functions are going to take away from my DD using her own imagination to pretend. Also, I'm wondering if the doll is going to be constantly making noise. Do any of you have any experience with this doll or any other suggestions for a special doll we could get for her? I'd want it to be somewhere between 15" and 17"- not too big and not too small! :0)

Thanks so much for any help you can offer!
