I have a four year old daughter who goes throughout the entire day constantly touching her private area. I have asked her if she was itchy or if it hurt and she said it was a little itchy. I have been monitoring her closely to see if she had a rash even putting ointment on it just to be safe and nothing. I no longer know what to do as when I ask her why is she touching herself, she just stands there and looks at me. I am worried for two reasons, she does it in front of people all throughout the day and I have a history of molestation in my family and I know that children who have been touched have a tendency of constantly touching themselves. I don't see anything out of the ordinary with her private parts so I highly doubt its anything malicious. Any advice??
