2 yr old wont take off diaper

My 2 yr old daughter was showing signs of potty readiness. So we attempted to have her sit on her potty. She flipped out: screaming and crying, held the pee in until it started to leak out and basically just went into complete melt down until we put a diaper back on her. Now she is afraid to take a bath or do anything with diaper off. She will hold her bottom and her privates and cry the entire time until she can't hold it anymore. Help ! Don't know what to do

Yea i agree, first take her to a doctor and see what they have top say. My son started peeing in the toilet at 1 but was scared to poop in the toilet. He had to wear diapers because it was the only way he would poop. He even pooped in his pullup and threw it in my laundry basket! But overtime he figured it out on his own.

Dr visit first, agreed. This may sound gross, but put the potty in places other than the bathroom..maybe she is uncomfortable in the bathroom. Have you tried putting it in her room? Or let her sit on it while she is in her diaper, it's fine. If you don't freak out, she won't..be calm.
