My wife and I are expecting our second child next April! We've already got the boy name down, he'll be Everett James. We already have a son named Grayson Lee.

We had discussed Grace for our girl, named after wife's grandmother, but we decided its too close to Grayson and its gotten really popular in the last few years and we prefer a more unique name.

This morning I was brainstorming girl's names, going through our families for inspiration and her other grandmother's name Elsie really jumped out at me. Its unique, has a significance for us and something about it is just...charming. I'm thinking *maybe* Elsie Grace, that honors both of her grandmothers and has a nice flow to it.

What do y'all think of the name Elsie? My only worries; is it too old sounding? I've read some online comments about it being the name of a famous cow but even when I googled it I had never heard of that brand before, so I guess its not well known in the Southeast US.

TLDR Version: How about the girl name Elsie?

Thanks in advance!
