I have a 4 month old little boy, who will not for the life of him sleep in his own crib! =[ he literally throws a fit, screaming and crying. i've tried the cry it out method, but he just wont do it!!! My fiance is overseas and is coming home in July, and i would like for him to be sleeping in his own bed by then~~~!!! any advice? please help!

spend some fun time in the crib for a few days before expecting him to sleep in it.
move it into your room so he is still near you while getting used to the crib, then move the crib closer and closer to his room. If the crib will not fit through the door then start with a pack and play in your room, eventually moving into his room then into his own crib.
Make sure he is not overly tired when you begin.
Try naps first then bed time after he sleeps in it during a few naps
Just let him cry, checking on him/comforting him every 10 minutes - he may eventually fall asleep (a few hours later).
    Hope something works for you.

Well your child shouldnt be sleeping in the same bed as you anyways because it is a SIDS hazard ( atleast i think its called SIDS) and maybe consult your child's pediatrician.

Four months is too young for the cry it out. I agree with having him in your room until he gets a bit older.

I agree with moving the crib in your room and getting him used to, to it is also a good idea. Try it. I think it will work
