navigation?

I'm having a hard time looking around and getting back to zero on the forums or browsing other forums without hitting back<back<back ...

Am I missing the forum navigation menu?

I think I got it a little. If I click on the "community" banner, I go back to the main menu, but what about trying to return to the current sub-forum?

Hi mesmark! If you look at the top on the right side of the posts across from "reply to threads" and above "cool tools" you will see page numbers. If you click on 1 it will take you back to the first page of the thread you are reading, it will also jump you to the 4th page of the thread (if there are that many) if you want to read further.

As for the sub formus, I go to the Community up above and then scroll down the to forum I want and click on that. I will offer a suggestion to the tech dept. that an easier way to get back to the forum you are on would help our members. I appreciate your patience and I hope this helps.

I really agree on this one. Let's say I'm reading in the Oct 2011 birth thread. I want to look at November next. Have to hit back a few times or go to the beginning to get to the thread I want. A lot of forums have a tree navigation to help with that. For example, if viewing the Oct 2011 club thread, the navigation might look like this:
Community > Pregnancy > Birth Clubs > 2011 Babies > October 2011

Each section would be hyperlinked to the proper page to allow for easier navigation to another section.
