    Default Food allergy diaper rash?

My daughter is 9 months and has been eating solids for 2 months now. Last night I introduced lentils for the first time. She ate them up without any problem but, today she got a really bad diaper rash. It covers a large area from front to back and seems to be forming blisters in spots. I change her diapers frequently and use ointment whenever there are signs of irritation. This is why I am wondering if it might be a reaction to the lentils? I gave her a bath tonight and let her air dry to try and soothe her. While she was laying on the towel she peed and I noticed a spot of blood in it. Does anyone know of food allergies manifesting in this way?

I have never heard of food allergies causes these symptoms. I would suggest you call her pediatrition.

Food allergies obviously causes symptoms because new born baby's health is totally depend on food which baby eats regularly. This kind of rashes is not good for baby's skin so you have to check up your baby to pediatrition.
