Diabetes

Just found out last week that I may have Gestational Diabetes. Had to go today to get the 3 hour test done. My blood from the 1 hour wasn't quite at the level, but my Dr. likes to be on the safe side. I figure better to be safe than sorry. Makes me nervous though, and I feel guilty. Honestly though I really do think I have been taking care of myself pretty well. Except that Halloween candy...

Other than that I really feel good. She is moving around like crazy. Sometimes sideways. I can feel her on both sides of my belly like she is doing jumping jacks. My 2 1/2 son talks to her and tells her he loves her. He calls her Esmerelda. Pretty cute. We have her crib all set up, did that this weekend. I feel much more prepared for this one than I did for my first.

How is everyone else? Nothing on the Jan page lately. In the last trimester for me, 28 weeks last Sat. Hope to hear from someone soon.

Went to the Dr today. Blood work came back great. No chance of diabetes. As a matter of fact she asked me who let me use their blood since it was so great. Everything else is progressing as it should.
